SharePoint Migration and Modernization
2010, 2013, 2016 and 2019 Migration
State Bar of Wisconsin Case Study
Start Bar of Wisconsin needed to migrate its Wisbar.org site from SharePoint 2010 to 2019 due to Microsoft end-of-life support for SharePoint 2010. MethodFactory provided the State Bar of Wisconsin with a multi-phased approach from Discovery and Analyst, Planning, and Implementation to ensure their migration went according to plan.
The project started with a Brute Force migration approach where MethodFactory would force the SharePoint migration from 2010 to 2013, from 2013 to 2016, and finally, from 2016 to 2019 while documenting the areas of failure along the way.

UnityPoint Health Case Study
UnityPoint Health, a network of hospitals and clinics in Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin, required a swift solution to replace their five online gift shops before their new public-facing website went live. This posed a tight deadline for MethodFactory to deliver an Ecommerce replacement solution.
MethodFactory promptly created a proposal to replace the existing shops with Shopify stores. The solution aimed to ensure a seamless UI experience aligned with the new website’s aesthetics, prioritizing enhanced user satisfaction. Additionally, the solution needed to incorporate custom fields to capture pertinent information about the gift recipients, room numbers, and well wishes.

State Bar of Wisconsin Case Study
WisBar partnered with MethodFactory based on their extensive experience with Kentico Web Content Management and Ucommerce e-commerce. The ability to seamlessly integrate with IMIS Association Management System was of paramount importance to ensure that member profile information and history could be leveraged to dynamically customize the user experience.
The new site was designed to support Wisconsin State Bar Association’s desire to modernize their member e-commerce experience including modern category browse, guided navigation, and search functionality, as well as a streamlined check-out process and a membership management area. MethodFactory redesigned the site graphically with a clean, logical, and contemporary look – utilizing the latest in CSS interface design, giving WisBar the flexibility to change the aesthetics of the site as they evolve.

Chaparral Motorsports Case Study
MethodFactory engaged with Chaparral Motorsports stakeholders to design and build a full-featured second-generation e-commerce website. Notable features included sophisticated integration to support marketplace feeds, product page caching, international order processing/fulfillment, and many others.
Customers now enjoy a faster, more robust Search/Find, responsive device support. and account management. Products can be searched and found through site-wide filtering by category, age, and brand. The filters can stack on top of each other so that many criteria can be used at one time to narrow down the search. Product filtering includes multi-dimension attributes – by product and application; helping take the guesswork out of shopping and getting the consumer to the products quicker.

UnityPoint Health
UnityPoint Health was looking for a no-nonsense web solution to support the needs of a new business division. Budget and timeline were of primary importance. MethodFactory carefully inventoried requirements and proposed a WordPress microsite. The entire site was designed, provisioned, and lanched within 6-weeks. Following the launch, MethodFactory performed a structured hand-off to allow UnityPoint stakeholders the ability to take full control of ongoing management and maintenance.
Based on the successful completion of the initial engagement, UnityPoint Health has contracted with MethodFactory to implement several additional WordPress microsites. Although not necessarily reflective of MethodFactory’s full capabilities, the work performed accomplished UnityPoint Health’s objectives in terms of budget – and timeline.

Jarden Case Study
MethodFactory worked with Jarden Corporation to design and build a multi-tenant e-commerce enabled solution that could be easily leveraged to support the varying needs of multiple brands in multiple countries/regions. The solution needed to provide centralized administration and corporate governance without limiting brand creativity and accommodate marketing flexibility across dozens of brands operating anywhere in the world.
The ultimate solution was based on a prescriptive architecture that included content management, e-commerce engine, and ERP integration into multiple SAP instances using BizTalk. MethodFactory also provided infrastructure design services, 24×7 hosting and management, and end-to-end solution support.

Corsearch
As part of corporate restructuring, Corsearch needed to migrate off of their existing web content management solution and onto a platform that better suited their needs. Corsearch engaged with MethodFactory to document requirements and establish options. The legacy platform was at its end-of-life, and the options provided by the incumbent web content management vendor were unattractive. After careful analysis, MethodFactory determined that Kentico web content management was more than adequate to support Corsearch’s digital web marketing requirements, and could be implemented with the assistance of Corsearch’s internal resources – for significantly less than what had been previously proposed.
Following the launch, MethodFactory transitioned operational and content management responsibilities to Corsearch staff to provide an even greater ROI.
